Risk Management
View of Risk
Both security work and security measures should take their point of departure in a risk assessment facilitating a swift and easy insight into the “View of Risk”.
Business Impact Analysis
In ControlManager™, risk management comprises five sub-modules focusing on business impact, vulnerability, probability and collective risks. In addition, it is feasible to get an overview of the historic development and to carry out a simulation of “changes” in the risk enviroment.
Risk assessment
Without a realistic risk assessment of your entire enterprise which has been based on business routines, it will be impossible to establish a genuine security picture. The major risks may not necessarily lie where you would expect them. Some systems may even be practically irrelevant in a business-operational perspective, whereas others may potentially bring the development of an enterprise to a halt.
The risk assessment constitutes the point of departure for the continued security work, representing the most valid method for a commercial approach to the information-security work.
